Dolly Dearest (1992) - What's more evil than a nasty little possessed doll? In this flick, this poor guy purchases a Mexican doll company, but strange occurrences begin to take place and he's unsure of what is causing them and how to stop them from taking place. A nasty little dolly befriends the man's little girl and it seems the girl's companion in addition to the rest of the dolls found in the factory are alive or even possessed.
Ghoulies (1985) - A young gentleman and his partner move into an old family mansion left to the young chap, where he is taken over and possessed by his need to harness and control his home's ancient little green demons. This one is a classic.
Night of the Creeps (1986) - A fraternity initiation goes horribly wrong as tiny slug-like space creatures inhabit the dead bodies of students at the college and go on the attack! The one is another classic. I haven't seen it in a while, so I may just indulge on this hot night that's leading up to summer!
Rumplestilskin (1996) - We all know the fairy-tale about Rumpelstiltskin granting the wishes of a peasant girl and then attempting to claim her first born child if she couldn't guess his name. Well, imagine if little 'ol Rumpee catapulted himself into the future to wreak havoc and spin his evil web in modern times.
This is true cheese, but I'm watching it for the first time and I'm feeling like he's got the same vibe going on as the troll or leprechaun characters in horror films, but he's much cuter. I like his pointed teeth. I've dated guys less attractive. Hey! Does the best friend really remind of you of is lady Aberlyn from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood met Lily Tomlin and they had a lovechild?
Thale (2012) - Thale is a mythical tailed lady creature, which is found in the forest by two people who are cleaning up a crime scene. Thale doesn't speak, but her people want her back. The plot unfolds. So, I gather she's like a sprite, fairy, little people thing. Oooooh, I hear those guys aren't very nice. This one is Norwegian, so you have to be in a subtitle mood to indulge in this one!
