The Banshee, in Irish folklore, is a feminine spirit, usually seen as an omen of death.  A banshee is said to begin to wail if someone is about to die. In Scottish- Gaelic mythology, she is known as the bean sìth or bean-nighe and is seen washing bloodstained clothes or armor of those about to die. Alleged sightings of banshees have been reported as recently as 1948. 

Banshee - A group of college friends on a spring break camping trip are stalked and slashed by an unknown creature with the ability to make them hallucinate through sound waves. Now, they have to come up with a plan to kill this unrelenting creature before it kills them.
